心配でハラハラしながらニュースを見ています……敬愛なる友人たちが大変な事態に!!　個人的な知り合いには連絡してみんな大丈夫だったけど、非常に深刻な状況ですね。今度契約したニューヨークのレーベル「ジ・エンド・レコーズ」で、アンヴィルの新曲がダウンロードできるのですが、収益金はすべて日本の援助資金になります。われわれができることはやるけど、何より人々の無事を願っています。日本はとても強い意志を持った社会なので、これを乗り切って再び繁栄することと信じています。僕の心とソウルは、みなさんと共にあります……どうぞ気をつけてご無事で……愛をこめて……リップス。

I am at the edge of my seat with worry....my dearest friends are in trouble!! I have contacted everyone I know personally and all are ok but the situation is very bad. Our new record label The End Records out of New York have put a new Anvil song up for download and all proceeds are going to a help fund for Japan. We are doing what we can, but most of all I hope for the peoples safety. Japan is a very determined society and I believe you will survive and flourish again. My heart and soul are with you...please be careful and safe......we love you all...LIPS

These are difficult times. Like the Japanese people, the whole world is tense with the fact that occurred on March 11. We have access to photos, videos and stories - enough to make us sensitive, but we continue to believe that everything will be fine.
Here, on the other side of the world, I'm sending good vibrations to the Japanese people. The world is beside you. Together we can rebuild not only the country but create a new way of life - with more human interest and less economical.
Art is a good way to relieve the pain. So I send flowers to you.

Dear ASAI and all the members of Uplink, It's so good to hear from you and to be sure that you are fine.

I can still remember the days when we were working together in Tokyo a few months ago. I still remember our conversations during the lunch breaks in the restaurants... It was a great pleasure working together with you on films at that time and that is one of my best memories.

And now, by this message, I hope I'm right by your side and face everything together, just like a few months ago.

Many friends and filmmakers around me are checking the news and photos about Tokyo and Japan everyday. The whole world is deeply concerned.

The world is too small, life is too short while an encounter is too fortuitous.

Please allow us to be with you, with your family and your friends to live through this hardest moment for Japan. This is also the worst moment for all of us.

Hope we'll see each other soon, because I think we always trust in the future.

何を言うべきかずっと考えていましたが、日本のみなさんに対する心配な気持ちを表す言葉が見つかりません。これまでずっと日本の文化や哲学を尊敬していましたし、『ブルー・ゴールド-狙われた水の真実』のプロモーションのために日本を訪れるということは、私の長年の夢でした。哀悼の意を表すとともに、日本のみなさんは世界中のどの文化よりも力強く生きることや、こういった悲劇から再建することに長けていると、心から信じています。また日本を訪れることを心待ちにしていますし、そちらの状況を日々見守っています。

I have been thinking of what to say, and I just cannot find words for our worry and concern for the people of Japan. In my heart I have always respected Japanese culture and philosophy, and so it was a life-long dream to travel to Japan to promote Blue Gold with UPLINK. If there is any condolence I can offer, it is that I truly believe the Japanese to be the most capable of surviving and rebuilding from such a tragedy of any culture in the world. I look forward to visiting again and read daily of the situation there.

I'm really very sorry for everything that happened in your lovely country. i got terrified. especially because i was there last year and i felt a strong connection with japanese people. i'm sure that those things make us think about our future and make twists in our life.

So that's why i send you a poetic message from me and jingle jangle. i believe the video brings another meaning after the massive earthquake.
